Our Mission
Grand Rapids Golf Society exists to create golfers, move golfers, and connect golfers by making West Michigan golf easier to discover, understand, choose, and experience.
From the Founder
I have called West Michigan home for more than 40 years, and I have watched Grand Rapids grow into a place people are proud of. It is known for its food, its breweries, and its arts scene. I have always believed golf belongs in that conversation.
Some of the best golf in the Midwest is right here. Exceptional courses, genuine hospitality, and communities that know how to welcome visitors. What was missing was not the golf. It was an identity. Nobody had claimed this region as a golf destination and built something around it.
That is why I founded Grand Rapids Golf Society. We are building something for the golfer first: local course knowledge, better decisions about where to play, reasons to explore beyond the usual rotation, and experiences that connect the West Michigan golf community. If we help golfers experience more of the golf that is already here, the region's reputation grows with them.
